Martha Stewart, 82, has stunned fans after sharing a 'thirst trap' on Instagram, with many fans describing the lifestyle guru as 'goals', though some have slammed her for posting the photo.

Taking to Instagram last week, Martha shared the snap to show off her nightgown and robe, writing, "After an eight-hour plane trip from Westchester to Palm Beach - horrible by the way - we went to bed early and wore my beautiful @sabbiarosa nightgown (linen with robe).

"I didn't look so bad when I got up at least not as bad as I did when I went to bed- it must be the $$$$$outfit [sic]!"

Martha posed seductively for the camera, with one user writing, "Thirst Trap Martha is my favourite Martha."

Some said she was "breaking the Internet", and others labelled her an "icon".

Others weren't so kind, with one follower writing, "Martha honey…you gotta stop doing the Kim K faces in your nightgowns you’re not 40 anymore 😂."

"If we’re going to grow older gracefully, at least be honest about it," another said. "The filters are beyond obvious and it makes it hard to trust you!"

Martha shared some more snaps from her trip, with many fans questioning how she looks so good.

"Does Martha have a book where she explains what she eats, where she shops, what work outs she does, what supplement she takes, what air she breathes?" one user wrote. "Because I’m going to need a detailed plan to look this gorgeous at this age."

"Martha, I have never seen a woman age more beautifully," another said.
