Richard Gere Says This Chapter with His 4 Kids Is the 'Top of the Top' as He Preps for Their Move to Spain

Richard Gere is the ultimate family man.
As a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the actor, 75, shared his appreciation for his wife Alejandra Silva and their four sons: Alexander, 5, James, 4, Albert, 11, Silva's child from a previous relationship, and Homer, 24, whom he shares with ex-wife Carey Lowell.
Asked, "How great is this chapter in your life?" Gere replied without hesitation, "The top of the top."

"I love my wife. She's incredible, a great mother," the Pretty Woman star continued. "The kids are healthy, happy. Of course, there's nothing more than that."
Gere then shared that he and his family will be celebrating Thanksgiving in Madrid as he discussed their move there.
“My wife is Spanish and she gave me about seven years here, so we’re going to spend some years in Madrid with her family," he explained.

"Our kids are bilingual so they’re going to flourish there,” Gere excitedly added.
The proud dad cannot wait to spend Thanksgiving Day in Spain, sharing, "My wife grew up in a big Spanish family, like a big Italian family, and her grandmother was kind of the glue that held that all together."
He continued, "And the grandmother passed away [about] two years ago, so my wife, I can see her morphing into the new grandmother of this extended family. So she’s already planning for 35 people for Sunday lunches."
