If you're anything like me, you probably thought the last two weeks without any new episodes of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City were the longest in recorded history. And who can blame us? While the cast certainly gets credit for making every moment they're on-screen feel meme-worthy, they often don't get acknowledged for the jaw-dropping fashions they wear until first-time housewife and season breakout star Bronwyn Newport showed up.

Newport lives and breathes fashion. She is often seen in a rainbow of colorful couture pieces that defy gravity and dress codes. And who can blame her? Wouldn't you want to push the sartorial limits if you had a closet full of one-of-a-kind pieces and designers on speed dial? Just take Newport's reunion dress, for instance.

Yesterday, Bravo revealed the reunion looks the cast will wear to sit down with Andy Cohen to gab about the fifth season's highs and lows. They all looked ravishing in red, but we must admit that Newport topped our best-dressed list by wearing an extravagant crimson Carolina Herrera dress that supermodel and mogul Karlie Kloss first wore to the 2021 Met Gala. Newport gave thanks to creative director Wes Gordon for unlocking the brand's archives for her to pick out the look, posting on Instagram: "The reunion is coming! So grateful to @wesgordon and @carolinaherrera for taking Karlie Kloss’ actual Met Gala dress out of their archive and tailoring and selling [it] to me for both this big day and my own collection."

Newport continued: "The dress on the Met Gala carpet was meant to symbolize America’s flower, the rose at the 'In America: A Lexicon of Fashion' event. For me, it was a symbol of my hope for blossoming friendships in the future after watching myself throughout the season, as long as we can all get past each other’s thorns! I also wanted to bookend my first season the way I started it… in big red shoulders!" While we can't help but gush over her swoon-worthy gown, Newport's accessories also caught our eye.

Newport wore Kloss's dress with red strappy heels that elongated her stems and carried a clutch with a 3-D rosette motif. The red clutch brought in the extravagance of her blooming and billowing gown but also felt like a more wearable way to wear the timeless floral trend. Picking out a floral clutch or a pair of shoes that's not only rendered in a rich pop of color but also has a visual interest through texture and depth is an easy way to elevate any outfit, whether it be a Met Gala dress, a Valentine's Day look, or even just a good old pair of jeans. The trick is to find high-quality pieces and let the craftsmanship shine just as brightly as the clothes.
