Renée Zellweger hit the red carpet on Monday for the premiere of “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” in Paris. The two-time Oscar-winning actress stars in the latest installment of the “Bridget Jones” film series based on the novels by Helen Fielding.

For the red carpet occasion, Zellweger styled a floor-length gown courtesy of Saint Laurent. The actress’ one-shoulder, asymmetric dress featured allover black lace with floral detailing throughout and a scalloped neckline.

Zellweger’s gown featured a high slit on one side of her skirt, which was juxtaposed by her one long sleeve. The actress styled black pointed-toe pumps to complete her look, but opted for a few accessories to accentuate her sartorial statement.

The actress’ jewelry selection consisted of a turquoise statement ring worn on her index finger. Zellweger favored a minimalist approach from there, opting for no earrings, bracelets or any further jewelry pieces.

“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” is Zellweger’s first major film since her Oscar-winning turn in “Judy,” a biographical film about the late Judy Garland’s time performing in 1968 London months before her untimely death at the age of 47.

For “Judy,” Zellweger transformed into the titular role with the help of costume designer Janey Temime. “I’ve been working for so many years but my collaboration with her on that film was extraordinary,” Temime shared in February 2020, ahead of the BAFTAs. “Renée gave all my designs a life, it was fantastic, she gave them all a soul,” Temime said.

“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” follows the titular character (Zellweger) navigating life as a widow and single mom. Now on dating apps, Bridget finds herself pursued by a younger man and her son’s science teacher. The film costars Hugh Grant, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Emma Thompson. “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” hits theaters Feb. 13.
