Ree Drummond’s daughter Alex is sharing scenes from her first Christmas as a mom.
The new mom, 27, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her holiday festivities with her newborn Sofia – who she welcomed with husband Mauricio Scott on Dec. 18 – via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The first post was of Sofia bundled up in a car seat.
"Merry Christmas," Alex wrote in the caption, along with a pink bow and red heart emoji. "Sofia’s got places to be and people to see."
The snap showed Sofia donning a large pink bow on her head as she napped in a cozy car seat during the outing. The newborn was covered by a light pink blanket with white hearts.

Ree, 55, has been embracing her title of first-time grandmother since Sofia was born. The cookbook author wrote in a Dec. 19 Instagram post that the family "will never be the same" while sharing a snap of herself cradling the baby in the hospital alongside her husband Ladd.
The Food Network star shared that same day in an article on her website that her son-in-law Scott was so supportive of her daughter during birth, she almost felt like she didn't need to be there.
"Alex did great, and so did Mauricio," Drummond wrote. "We arrived in Dallas and got to see them in the hospital just as Alex was transitioning from latent to active labor, and it was so wonderful to see how much they love and support each other."
