Zara Tindall Embraces Pinstripes in Veronica Beard Power Suit for New Year’s Day Cheltenham Racecourse Meet

Zara Tindall embraced one of the best trends for royal women at the New Year’s Day Racing Meet at Cheltenham Racecourse on Wednesday in England. The British royal family member was joined by her husband of 13 years, Mike Tindall.

The daughter of Princess Anne and niece of King Charles III styled a sleek pinstripe suit by Veronica Beard. The look featured a double-breasted wool-blend blazer in navy with faded pinstripes. The blazer coordinated with the pleated metallic pin-striped twill wide-leg trousers in a shade of navy.

Along with the suited elements of her attire, Zara Tindall wore a wrap velvet headband in a shade of maroon by Camilla Rose Millinery, which matched her Karen Millen turtleneck. Tindall carried a small crossbody bag by Fairfax & Favor, and completed the look with gold earrings.

Mike Tindall also suited up for the occasion, pairing a gray suit with a light, button-down dress shirt and bold red tie that complemented his wife’s headband and turtleneck.

Zara Tindall follows several royal women who also styled power suits and make the look an essential part of their wardrobe. Tindall’s cousin-in-law Kate Middleton often wears suited attire for certain daytime royal engagements, including looks designed by the likes of Roland Mouret.

Queen Letizia has also worn suited pieces as well. Recently, the Spanish royal honored the late Isak Andic, who founded the clothing label Mango. Queen Letizia wore a gray suit from the brand for an event on Dec. 17.
