Tatted fan’s rogue message to Robbie

A Robbie Williams superfan has raised eyebrows as she delivered her own political message to the British star on national television.

Hazel Leech featured heavily in coverage of the singer’s free concert at Melbourne’s Federation Square on Thursday, courtesy of her large back tattoo of the artist.

The dedicated fan’s ink depicts Williams nude and winged with the phrase “LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU”.

Ms Leech appeared on The Today Show on Friday morning to show off the tattoo, and was asked near the end of her interview whether she had her own message to deliver to the performer fresh off his packed-out Melbourne gig.

Warned by hosts to “keep it clean”, the superfan had a brief but strong political message for the singer: “Free Palestine, Free Luigi, ACAB.”

“Little political message,” the hosts quipped in response, “legend”.

ACAB is an acronym representing the phrase “All Cops Are Bastards”.

“Free Luigi” refers to Luigi Mangione, the man charged with murder in the alleged shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City.

Ms Leech called in sick to work to attend Williams’ concert, setting up early in the day to grab a coveted spot and telling NewsWire her favourite song of his is “Angels”.

“Hence the tattoo, yeah,” she said.

After calling in sick to work and appearing on national television, Today hosts asked the fan what her plan was to tell her boss.

“I don’t know – I’m too important to fire,” Ms Leech said.

Robbie Williams had his own message about police at his concert on Thursday, telling fans he had laughed about police horses being there “because of the menopausal audience that I attract”.

“They’re violent f**kers,” he joked.

Williams’ concert was one of many events including meet and greets, Q&A’s and a special movie screening to promote his new bio-pic Better Man.
