Rebel Wilson's special exemption to skip 72-hour Australian quarantine
Rebel Wilson has been granted an exemption from NSW's mandatory three-day quarantine for overseas travellers after flying into Sydney on Monday morning.
Unlike other international arrivals, the Aussie jet-setter was able to skip the required 72-hour isolation period and instead enjoyed a visit to a local park just hours after touching down from LA.
The 41-year-old was snapped wearing activewear while exercising and spending time with her younger sister, Annachi in a Sydney park on Monday afternoon.
Rebel is set to walk the red carpet along with Eric Bana, Russell Crowe and Simon Baker at the AACTA awards on Wednesday.
A NSW Health spokesperson told Yahoo Lifestyle:
"NSW Health does not comment on individual cases. However, when exemption requests are reviewed and granted by NSW Health or the NSW Health Minister, strict conditions such as testing and vaccination requirements are imposed to ensure any risk to public health is minimised."

Under the health department's normal rules, Rebel would have had to remain in quarantine until Thursday morning.
According to a statement from Rebel's manager which was obtained by Daily Mail, the Pitch Perfect star "received government permission from NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research Brad Hazzard" to be excused from isolation.
As for why Rebel was excused, her manager was unable to provide an answer however they did say that the A-lister "has been doing multiple PCR [nose and throat swab] tests" since arriving in Sydney.
As per NSW Health guidelines that were introduced on December 1, 12.01am, all overseas travellers (except those arriving from select African countries) must complete a PCR test and isolate for 72 hours at a nominated address or accommodation.
People will only be able to exit isolation at the end of the 72 hour period if they have received a negative result.
After exiting isolation people must complete an additional PCR test on day six after arrival and comply with the NSW Health guidelines for recent fully vaccinated arrivals.
According to the LA Times, Los Angeles county — where Rebel is believed to have flown into Sydney from — has averaged 1,479 new Covid cases and 16.1 new deaths per day over the past week.
Just over 74 percent of LA country residents are at least partially vaccinated.
Rebel's manager has been contacted for comment.
Rebel's travels
Despite the Covid pandemic, Rebel has spent a large part of the last two years jetting around the globe.
Recently, she was in Fiji filming a stunning ad for Tourism Fiji which saw her explore the popular holiday destination in a variety of dazzling outfits.
Earlier on, Rebel shared snaps to her Instagram account from her trips to Mexico, Rome, Saint Tropez, Paris, NYC and LA.
And back in September, she celebrated her 41st birthday with an extravagant party with her closest friends on a private French Polynesian island dubbed 'Rebel Island'.
The star and her pals — including Pitch Perfect co-stars including Brittany Snow and Anna Kendrick — enjoyed themed movie nights and even a tennis tournament, aptly named 'Rebeldon' during their stay.
There was also a lot of beach time, where Rebel posed in a red one-piece swimsuit to show off her 30kg weight loss transformation.
