The Aussie actress was filming an action-comedy in Savannah, Georgia.
Rebel Wilson has shared a health update with her followers after she was hospitalised for an on-set injury while filming her new movie, Bride Hard.
The 43-year-old had posted a selfie from the emergency room in Savannah, Georgia on Monday with a bloody and swollen nose.
“NOT the way I wanted to end this movie,” she wrote. “3 stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am.”
Just a few days on from the incident, Rebel has now taken to her Instagram Stories to share more details about what had happened and assure her fans that she is recovering well.
“So I just wanted to say thank you for your well wishes,” she said on her Instagram Stories. “I’ve actually been healing quite amazing. The stitches have dissolved out from my on-set accident last week.

“I was shooting an independent movie in Savannah, Georgia. In the middle of a night shoot, my last scene of the movie, so I’d done all these kick-ass fight sequences and then just in the last one I got hit in the face with the butt of a gun.
“So it was a complete accident and was such a shock. But, luckily, I’m healing very well, so I wanted to say thank you for everybody’s well wishes. Hopefully, I will be totally, totally fine.
Rebel added that while she found it “really fun” to shoot an action film, “it can be a bit dangerous at times”.
It was first announced in May that the Pitch Perfect actress would star in the action-comedy film Bride Hard, directed by Simon West.
According to Deadline, the story follows “badass secret agent Sam (Rebel) who has been tasked with one of her hardest missions yet – being a Maid of Honour for her childhood best friend”.
