Project viewers left stunned over 'uncomfortable' Lauren Hutton interview: 'Is she OK?'
Supermodel Lauren Hutton appeared to be having a good time on Australian show.
The Project hosts were left stunned on Sunday night during an 'awkward and uncomfortable' interview with supermodel Lauren Hutton, who is currently in Australia with David Jones.
The 79-year-old shocked the hosts when asked about her thoughts on retiring when one of her answers was censored.
Speaking about her love of work, she said, "I think it's important to..." before the rest of her sentence was bleeped out. "These things are important," she added with a cheeky smile as the panel was left in shock.
Michael Hing, who was sitting closest to Lauren, was clearly stunned, with Hamish McDonald joking to Lauren, "You've made my friend Michael blush!"

"It's just really nice to meet you, you seem really cool," he said nervously as Lauren sidled up closer to him.
"You're not so bad yourself," she said as the panel laughed.
Earlier in the interview, Lauren corrected Rachel Corbett after she said the model is 79, "I'm not 79, I’m 80."
Rachel laughed off the moment, saying, "I just gave you an extra year!"
However, the model quickly shared that she had been pulling her leg, "That was a lie. [Eighty] got a better sounds. It’s curvy."
Viewers from home were stunned at the interview, during which Lauren sometimes seemed to forget what she was saying.
"Sorry, that Hutton interview was awkward and uncomfortable," one Twitter user said.

"Is she... OK?" another questioned.
"The booking producer of The Project really need to stop booking guests immediately after their flights into the country," a third said. "Jet lag is real and does no one any favours. Poor Lauren Hutton."
"I thought she was pretty amazing for someone who just got off a plane and a lot of fun," someone else wrote, saying that Lauren's personality appeared in line with older interviews.
