Prince William Shares ‘Wonderful and Heartwarming’ Throwback Photo With King Charles

Soon after Kate Middleton paid tribute to Prince William as the father of their three children, William took a moment to honor his father, King Charles III, on Father's Day.

The 41-year-old shared a throwback photo with Charles from when he was a child on his official Instagram account, writing, "Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W."

In the photo, a toddler-aged William smiled brightly while wearing a blue and white short-sleeved shirt with shortalls over it. He seemingly kicked a little ball with his father, who stood beside him in a gray suit. It's unclear where the photo was taken.

"Such a wonderful and heartwarming photo ❤️ Happy Father's Day to both His Majesty and His Royal Highness ❤️," wrote a supportive fan. Others called the picture "adorable," "absolutely precious" and a "beautiful moment."

"This is too sweet! 😭💙," read another comment, while someone else said, "Father and son. What a classic homage. ❤."

Noting the resemblance between young William and his own children, a fan replied, "I thought that was George at first until I saw a young Charles. 🤣."

"This could not be any sweeter. Yesterday was so amazing to watch and see the love in this Family," an appreciative fan said. They referenced Trooping the Colour on June 15, which featured William's wife Kate's return to the public eye after months away.

Previously, it was reported that Kate would miss the event, but the princess appeared for the annual birthday parade honoring the reigning monarch.

She had her family by her side, including her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Fans were ecstatic to see Kate out and about as she continues her cancer treatment, with many welcoming her back with kind messages.
