Prince William and Kate Middleton ready to skip royal Christmas amid feud with Camilla's son

It's believed that Prince William isn't the biggest fan of Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles.

Prince William may be set to miss Christmas with his father, King Charles, thanks to an alleged feud with Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles. It was previously reported by The Daily Beast that William and his wife, Kate Middleton, would be "especially" poised to skip Christmas if Camilla invited Tom, with a source telling the outlet, "It is best to avoid mentioning Tom around William."

They added that Wills is nervous about Tom's "rather louche lifestyle as a Mayfair bon vivant." And now that Tom has confirmed he will be attending Christmas with the royals this year, it may mean William will skip it.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Tom explained that it will be quite different from his usual Christmas.

"For the past 15 years it has been: I go back to my ex-wife’s house, sit in my tracksuit bottoms, go to the pub while the beef’s in, then try to get my children to watch The Wild Geese. Classic," he said. "So this would be a bit different."

"I genuinely know nothing about it,” he added. "I know there’s turkey and sprouts and church. And I have to bring a suit and a dinner jacket."

He also shared that while the invitation has always been open, he took Camilla up on it this year because she asked him to.

"My mum said 'I’d love you to come, I haven’t had Christmas with you for a long time,'" he said. "It has been a hell of a two years for them. The older you get, the more conscious you become of mortality, especially with illnesses and the rest of it."

Charles, of course, has been battling cancer, which he announced earlier this year, while Camilla is recovering from pneumonia.

Tom said his mother "went back to work before she should have done but she’s fine. She’s tough."
