Poppy Delevingne in November 2024Poppy Delevingne is about to become a first-time mom!
On Friday, Jan. 17, the model, 38, announced she’s expecting her first baby with her partner Archie Keswick, 44, in an interview with Elle UK. She explained that her clothes felt tighter during a fitting for Burberry’s London Fashion Week show in the fall, which led her to take a pregnancy test.
“She really is all I’ve ever wanted,” Delevingne said, revealing that she’s expecting a baby girl.
“Obviously, I would have been fine with either and when I was younger I always thought when I get pregnant, I wouldn’t find out, but the second we got told we could find out, we did,” she continued. “I’m so excited. I come from all girls, we’re very girl heavy. Girls are great.”
The model revealed that her decision to share the pregnancy publicly comes as she’s approaching six months of pregnancy and “there’s no hiding this bump anymore” at work events.

“It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn't really believe it. It still feels really surreal,” Delevingne told Elle UK.
She became emotional as she confessed to the outlet that she had “anxiety” about having a baby in her late 30s but added that her emotions are gradually turning to “excitement.”

Her billionaire businessman partner who she said was “born to be a dad” has two children from a previous marriage and previously dated actress Sienna Miller.
Delevingne was previously married to James Cook but separated in 2022 after eight years of marriage.
Speaking on the Origins with Cush Jumbo podcast last year, she confessed that the stigma of divorce kept her in the relationship for longer than she should’ve stayed.
"I’m quite sad, actually, that we should feel that there’s such a thing about it, that, god she’s divorced, damaged goods, no one’s going to want you,” she said, according to The Independent.
“Especially women in their late thirties who haven’t had a baby ... It’s not easy to make that kind of a decision. It’s not by any stretch,” she added. "And I think within that, you have to have courage. You’ve got to love yourself, put yourself first, and you’ve got to be happy. We have one shot at life. Oh my god, I chose happiness. I chose me."
