Yahoo Lifestyle Pop-Tarts Launches ‘Interesting’ New Flavor That’s a Spin on an Old Favorite: ‘Woah’
Just because holiday cookie season is over doesn't mean everybody is ready to give up their favorite seasonal treats—and thanks to Pop-Tarts, they won't have to.
As revealed in an Instagram post from food blogger Markie Devo, the beloved toaster pastry brand is bringing back a fan-favorite flavor that most people associate with the holiday season and giving it a springtime twist: Pop-Tarts No Chill Sugar Cookie.
An image shared on Thursday, Jan. 23, showed the new Pop-Tarts alongside several other just-introduced snacks, including Blue Bell Strawberry Toaster Pastry Ice Cream, Haribo Berry Hearts, and Sour Punch Banana Roulette Bites.
"Banana and berry gummies, knock-off Pop-Tarts ice cream and Sugar freaking cookie Pop-Tarts!!! Good times!!🤩," the caption read.
According to Markie Devo, the "No Chill" Pop-Tarts are basically the same "classic sugar cookie" flavor that people know and love with "fun spring designs" on the icing.

Commenters were definitely excited about the new offering, though some were confused by the timing.
"interesting that they’re releasing the sugar cookie this time of year😯," one person wrote.
"I love how they brought back the Christmas flavor but tied it to Spring and I like how it says 'Spring Thaw Edition.' 😂" quipped a second Instagram user.
"If they know sugar cookie sells well why don't they just keep them around year round lol," someone else wanted to know, with another fan saying, "I bet that sugar cookie is amazing frozen."
The new Pop-Tarts were also a hot topic of discussion on Reddit.
"Woah when did these come out? Why is it called No Chill?" somebody asked.
In a separate thread, another Pop-Tarts lover had mixed feelings, writing, "I might just clear out my local store if it’s worth the hype...really hoping these don’t end up a disappointment like those Boston Creme's."
