People With Super Rich Friends, Tell Us The Moment You Realized That A Friend Was Wayyyyyy Wealthier Than You Originally Realized

Money is fascinating. It impacts nearly every facet of our lives, and yet it's often considered a taboo topic, even amongst the closest of friends.

Which is exactly why it can be really jarring when you realize that somebody you're friends with is in an entirely different economic bracket than you originally believed them to be.

So I'm curious, BuzzFeed Community, if you've ever had an experience in which you realized a friend was significantly wealthier than you had initially thought.

For example, maybe you believed you and a friend were in similar economic situations until you learned that they actually have a trust fund; they just don't like to talk about it.

Or maybe you made a friend in college and went back to their family's home over the holiday break and were shocked to learn their family had literal staff (like a personal chef).

Maybe you and your friend were talking about taking a trip together, and they offered up their family's private jet (and you were like, "Whaaaaat???").
