Pamela Anderson Debuts Sweet and Sleek Curtain Bangs at the 2025 Golden Globes
The cut is Sabrina Carpenter-coded.
Pamela Anderson is officially having a long-overdue renaissance. Now, she's redefining herself as an acclaimed indie actress. This year, she stars in Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl in a role that is sure to kickstart a brand new era in her career. She has already received numerous award nods—including her first Golden Globe nomination.
Anderson stuck to her signature no-makeup makeup look on tonight's red carpet but changed things up with her haircut. The star debuted fluffy curtain bangs that hit right above her cheekbones. Anderson is no stranger to bangs—rocking everything from front bangs to side bangs. In early December, she chopped her hair into a beachy front bang. But tonight's sweet yet sleek styling departs from her typical lived-in approach to hair styling.
She attended the ceremony in a chic, elegant look that was emblematic of her relatively recent turn to a quietly luxurious French girl style. She wore a black, square neck gown with matching gloves and custom Pandora jewels.
Anderson first debuted this new look last year at an appearance at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, she has consistently opted for a pared-down beauty look. As she explained to Better Homes & Gardens, she now feels like her "true self." "[Going bare-faced] was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself. What is this cartoon character that I’d created? Okay, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore."
In The Last Showgirl, Anderson stars as Shelley, a Las Vegas showgirl who, after dancing in the same revue for 30 years, finds herself reflecting on the personal sacrifices she made for her career.
As Anderson said in a recent conversation with Anora's Mikey Madison for Variety's Actors on Actors, the role left her reflecting on her own experiences in the entertainment industry. "I was able to bring a lot of my own personal experience, my long life of dealing with beauty and glamour and aging and reassessing life choices. I got to bring my whole life into this role," Anderson said. "I think the past shouldn’t dictate your future. But looking back, I was always creating characters. And I feel like I know I’ve created a few Halloween costumes."
