Paige DeSorbo shares “SNL” star Marcello Hernández's reaction to cheating rumors about them: 'F--- yeah!'
The "Summer House" star recently broke up with her boyfriend of three years, Craig Conover.
Paige DeSorbo wasn't too thrilled about the cheating rumors surrounding her and Saturday Night Live's Marcello Hernández — but he didn't mind.
The Summer House star, who recently announced her split from ex-boyfriend Craig Conover, made sure to set the record straight about her friendship with the SNL star during Tuesday's episode of her Giggly Squad podcast. In doing so, she also revealed the hilarious reaction that Hernández had to finding out about the cheating theories.
"I don't care about any rumor that is ever said about me," DeSorbo told her podcast co-host, Hannah Berner. "The only thing that I was like, okay, I can't let this go by — because [there] was a third party involved — was people saying that I cheated on Craig with Marcello."
That said, DeSorbo still found the accusation hilarious.
"When I first saw that, I died laughing," she recalled, but added, "I felt weird. I was like, 'I have to text Marcello because what if he sees this? What if he has a girlfriend.'"
Berner chimed, saying that she too found the rumors ridiculous, especially since she thinks of Hernández as a little brother. "She would never touch my baby brother," Berner quipped, reacting to the rumors.
DeSorbo joked, "I was like, 'I can't have sex with a minor, that's illegal!'"
Added Berner, "Literally, he is our baby."
DeSorbo then explained that she got around to texting Hernández, and discovered that he wasn't as upset as she feared.
She recounted, "I texted him, I was like, ‘Hey, umm… just wanna let you know there’s, like, a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you. And he was just like, ‘F--- yeah!'"

DeSorbo and Conover started dating in 2021, after first crossing paths when their shows — Summer House and Southern Charm — overlapped for the crossover reality series, Winter House. Many a Bravoholic came to love the couple's chemistry (even Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen has reacted to the "very sad" breakup news) so naturally, whispers that DeSorbo had cheated on Conover with Hernández left many fans enraged.
The Summer House star shared that after joking about the rumors, Hernández sent her "screenshots of DMs he was getting of people being like, 'We f---ing hate you now, if you're the reason [for the breakup].' I was like, ‘Marcello, I am so f–--ing sorry — like this is so embarrassing.'"
Of the cheating rumors, she added, "No one involved was defending me, which I found interesting."

The podcast hosts then joked that they ought to invite Hernández onto the show as Domingo, his suave, wife-stealing SNL character who has not only recurred in sketches, but even popped up at a Sabrina Carpenter concert, where he was arrested for his hotness.
DeSorbo also revealed that addressing the cheating rumors was only her second time texting Hernandez one-on-one — the first time being back in February, when she demanded his help getting into the afterparty for controversial comic Shane Gillis' episode of SNL.
"Literally the only time I ever texted Marcello was 'Hey, do something for me and get me to meet Shane Gillis,'" she laughed.
DeSorbo previously announced her split from Conover during the Dec. 30 episode of her podcast, telling listeners that the couple "have decided to no longer be together."
She added, “I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force.”
At the time she firmly stated that "no one did anything,” elaborating of the split, “It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature [in] saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
Conover, who just recently addressed the breakup, said the split was “very unexpected” but “I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like.”
