The Taste the Nation host, 54, shared an Instagram Reel of herself and her daughter Krishna, 14, having fun with the trend. The pair exchanged jokes and laughs, as they ran away from the camera like suspects.
"I was never one to jump on a trend, fashion or otherwise. Which is why I rarely do these TikTok trends, but this one was really fun to film with Littlehands," Lakshmi wrote in her caption, affectionately calling her daughter by her nickname.
"I can't believe she outed me for laughing so hard I peed a little," she continued. "It happens sometimes, please don't judge!! It'll happen to you one day too, if you're lucky enough to laugh this much with your kids!"

In addition to laughing so hard, she had to change her pants, Lakshmi also teased Krishna for claiming the celebrity chef loved their family dog more than her daughter or boyfriend.
"Suspect thinks I love her more than the dog," Lakshmi joked in the video as her daughter ran past the camera.
Lakshmi welcomed Krishna in February 2010, with her then-partner Adam Dell, 55. Since then, the two have been seemingly inseparable, appearing together on beach trips and ball outings often coordinating outfits.
"Willing yourself into this world, you've been the greatest joy of my life," she wrote on Instagram in honor of Krishna's 13th birthday. "Of course I love you with all my heart but I also really like you! You have a wicked sense of humor. There's no one I'd rather spend time with, no one I'd rather laugh with or cry with."
In June 2024, the former Top Chef host posted a heartfelt message, along with photos from Krishna's middle school graduation.
"I can’t believe my baby girl is off to high school after the Summer," Lakshmi wrote, celebrating the monumental occasion. "I want to thank all of the teachers, educators, counselors, security and staff at the United Nations School for taking care of Krishna all these years."
"I’m so proud of Krishna and all she has achieved in her young, happy life. Special thanks to the theater department at UNIS and all the wonderful members of the parents association," the proud mom continued. "I’ll miss you guys at the snack bar! As Littlehands would say... gurl, bye!"
