Oprah Winfrey is sharing some of her literary opinions — including her preferred blanket for optimal coziness.

The media personality, 70, responded to fan questions on social media platform Threads on Sept. 10, including which fictional character that she’d most like to share a meal with.

“Pecola Breedlove from The Bluest Eye,” Winfrey wrote of the protagonist of Toni Morrison’s 1970 novel, who is a young Black girl who wishes to have blue eyes. “I would have her for lunch and say, ‘You don’t need blue eyes because you’re beautiful just the way you are.’”

Winfrey also answered questions about her ideal reading location — "Sofa and a fireplace and a lovely cashmere blanket probably. But we’ll take wool or cotton also" — along with the book that she feels everyone should pick up during their lifetime.

“It should be A New Earth by Eckhart Tolley,” Winfrey wrote. The bestselling nonfiction book and “spiritual guide” encourages readers to live in the present, per its synopsis.

On Sept. 10, Winfrey also announced that the 107th selection of her book club, Oprah’s Book Club, was Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout. The novel, which follows a Maine community rocked by a murder investigation, brings back some of the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer’s beloved characters from previous books, including Lucy Barton and Olive Kitteridge.

“There’s love, heartbreak and even possible murder — it’s the perfect read for this fall season,” Winfrey wrote on Threads of the novel.

“I think because I spent so much time actually paying attention to other people's challenges, dysfunction and suffering, I learned during those years,” Winfrey said. “I really came away with a sense of deep appreciation for what it means to live in the space of presence. And I really learned, from all those years of interviewing people one-on-one, that one of the greatest gifts you can give to anybody is your full attention.”
