One Direction star Harry Styles unrecognisable after drastic haircut

Harry Styles has debuted a nearly unrecognisable new look—shocking fans with a drastic haircut.

The One Direction star’s fresh ‘do first surfaced publicly when a fan’s parents snapped pictures with the star at an airport in Italy, hours before the post going viral.

“Soooo my dad just met harry in Italy,” Erin Saunders explained on Twitter, adding how she simply couldn’t ‘believe [her] eyes’.

“Love u thank you for being so lovely to my parents. He was so sweet and kind what an angel,” she wrote.

In the happy snaps, Harry appears to have foregone his trademark locks for a new shaggy hair cut with matching fringe, allowing him to go almost incognito.

And while some fans were happy to see their favourite pop crooner remerge from his typically private existence, others were unafraid to offer their criticism.

Harry what have you done with your hair? I still love you, but why," asked one fan.

"This low key makes me wanna cry," quipped another.

Others expressed support for the change, saying the heartthrob could comfortably pull off any look.

“I love that Harry does what makes him feel good! And honestly any hair style looks good on him,” another fan added.

The 25-year-old’s last soiree into the spotlight came last month when he featured on the cover of Rolling Stone and discussed how his upcoming album largely focuses on 'having sex and feeling sad'.
