A private funeral was held Wednesday for Liam Payne, who died last month in Buenos Aires.

The service was held in Amersham, England.

Liam's parents, Geoff and Karen Payne, were present, as were other family members and several celebrities close to the singer. This included Liam's One Direction bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson.

After releasing a collective statement immediately following Liam's death, each bandmate issued their own statement.

Liam died at 31 after falling from a hotel balcony, and ABC News reported last month that an autopsy revealed the singer had multiple substances in his system at the time of his death. Argentine prosecutors have charged three people in connection to his death, per the Associated Press.
