We now know some of the people involved in booing Hulk Hogan at last week's WWE show Monday Night Raw on Netflix, which caused the iconic wrestler to leave the building. In a new interview with the YouTube channel Sway's Universe, actor O'Shea Jackson Jr. admitted that he joined in the chant as revenge against Hogan's infamous racist rant from 2015.

"I was one of them. I'll show you the video, Jackson said when asked about the booing. "Me, Eric Andre, and Wale were giving it to him!"

When asked why, Jackson was clear in his reasoning.

"The racism, bro. It's just hard to forget how detailed that rant was," he said. "If you look up his rant, it's very detailed. I get a lot of people online who are like 'well, he would be mad if he found out about that whole generation!' Yeah, well, when I find out, I'll be mad. But right now? Bringing him out here? What'd you think was gonna happen?"

Back in 2015, Hogan (whose real name is Terry Bollea) was captured on tape by his lover Heather Clem repeatedly using the N-word and making gross sexual insinuations about Black men. The fallout from the leak was immense. Hogan was temporarily fired by WWE and had to go on Good Morning America and beg forgiveness from the public. His excuse was that the N-word was part of his "daily environment" growing up, and fellow wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson waved away the controversy by saying "we've all talked trash." Clearly, not everyone thinks Hogan's remarks can be so easily forgiven.

Jackson attended Raw and the interview with Sway's Universe as part of a promotion for his new action film, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. The sequel to the 2018 crime film sees Jackson reprise his role as criminal thief Donnie Wilson. Though previously opposed to L.A. Sheriff Nick "Big Nick" O'Brien (Gerard Butler), Wilson teams up with his old rival for an international heist in the new film.
