Nikki Glaser, a Taylor Swift superfan, says she spent 'close to $100K' on the Eras Tour: 'Would've paid even more'
Glaser says the total includes travel expenses, hotels, tickets, and merch—but doesn't regret it at all.
Nikki Glaser's got a blank check, baby, and she'll write Taylor Swift's name.
The comedian recently revealed to PEOPLE that she spent "close to $100,000" on Swift's globe-trotting Eras Tour, which bowed this month after 149 shows. Glaser caught 22 of them over the past two years, which evidently doesn't come cheap.
"I want to be clear that we're including travel expenses, hotels, and me also flying and putting up everyone that I would invite to go with me, plus tickets, plus merch," she explained. Now on the other side of what could have added up to down payments on several homes, Glaser feels it was "all well worth it," adding that she "would've paid even more."

The Eras Tour kicked off March 2023 and wound down this month, totaling 632 days on the road. The pop superstar played hits from her voluminous 11-album catalog during three-plus hour concerts in 51 cities across the world, raking in a record-breaking $2 billion in total sales.
Glaser said it's "nice to see the total that she made," and feels no shame or regret about her own generous contribution to the Swift fund. "I justify that cost because I don't have kids, and it's something that I consciously decided not to do, and it was something that I struggled with," she said. "In order for me to make myself feel better about the decision, I did look up how much it cost to raise a kid. And so once I saw that number, I thought, 'It's no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.'"
Swifties who've chronicled their pursuit of the pop goddess along the tour circuit have been criticized in some corners for their perceived frivolity. To those objections, Glaser postulates, "People who give you crap about it, they are just jealous... No one ever shames anyone for having kids and says, 'Oh, what a waste of money. Oh, you're flaunting your wealth.' But for some reason, when I go to 22 Taylor Swift shows, it's like, 'You're so privileged. How dare you spend that money.'"
"It's like, 'Was I supposed to invite you? I don't know you, ma'am,'" Glaser joked.
Glaser got her start in the stand-up comedy world and remains a fixture of the nation's premiere comedy clubs. But she's since expanded her repertoire to films (Trainwreck), TV series (Adam Ruins Everything), and the niche in which she particularly excels - celebrity roasts.
She was recently announced as the host of the upcoming Golden Globes ceremony. Earlier this month, Glaser told Entertainment Weekly that Swift is one of the primary reasons she's so excited about the new gig: "If she's there, I can guarantee that there will be no jokes made at her expense. Taylor, if you're reading this, you can just enjoy your night and not have to worry if anything's going to be said about you. You can sit on the stage next to me."
