Nicole Kidman Goes Backless in Twisted Balenciaga Gown for Golden Globes 2025 Red Carpet

Nicole Kidman picked up a dress from Balenciaga’s 52nd couture collection to attend the Golden Globes 2025 on Sunday in Los Angeles. She wore a twisted backless dress with a train in crystal rhinestone embroidered mesh.

For accessories, Kidman added diamond earrings and a bracelet. Her hair was styled in a retro-inspired updo.

Kidman was styled by Jason Bolden, who also works with Cynthia Erivo and Taylor Zakhar Perez. Bolden collaborated with Kidman during the press tour of “Babygirl,” with her wearing looks by Dolce & Gabbana and Loewe.

The actress has been a Balenciaga ambassador since December 2023.

Kidman was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her performance in “Babygirl.” The actress is a six-time Golden Globe Award winner, with notable wins for “To Die For” (1995), “Moulin Rouge!” (2001), “The Hours” (2002), “Being the Ricardos” (2021) and “Big Little Lies”(2018). She made her first Golden Globes appearance in 1992, when she was nominated for her supporting role in “Billy Bathgate.” There, she wore a black dress with an architectural neckline and a red choker. Over the years, she has worn looks by Givenchy, Prada, Versace and Alexander McQueen on the Golden Globes red carpet.

On Saturday, Kidman attended W Magazine’s annual Golden Globes party wearing Miu Miu outfits with her daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban.

The 2025 Golden Globes ceremony celebrates over eight decades of honoring entertainment excellence. Broadcast on CBS and hosted by Nikki Glaser, this year’s event featured 27 categories, including drama, comedy and limited series.
