Yahoo Lifestyle Nicole Kidman Embraces Knitwear in Matching Ferragamo Skirt and Sweater for ‘Expats’ FYC Event
Nicole Kidman opted for a cozier apparel for the FYC event for her Prime Video series “Expats” on Tuesday. The Oscar-winning actress was joined by costars Sarayu Blue and Ji-young Yoo along with series director Lulu Wang for SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations.
For the occasion, Kidman embraced knitwear in a coordinated sweater and skirt set courtesy of Ferragamo’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The look featured a long-sleeve sweater with a row of single dark buttons.

Beneath her sweater, Kidman wore a crisp white shirt. The midi skirt for Kidman’s look featured draped fabric that would have created a flowing train effect. Instead, Kidman opted to gather the fabric to the side.
The actress completed her look with the Brown Croc-Embossed Pump from Christian Louboutin. Her long blond tresses were styled in soft waves in an effortless half-up, half-down style. Kidman’s makeup featured a statement smokey eye along with a soft lip.
Kidman’s double knitwear look from Ferragamo made its runway debut during Milan Fashion Week last February. The collection, designed by creative director Maximilian Davis, featured contrasting styles with military precision and feathery embellishments.
Davis took inspiration from the 1920s with his collection, harkening back to the fashion house’s founder Salvatore Ferragamo. Backstage, Davis shared he wanted to capture the mood of the era through his designs.
Prior to this most recent event, Kidman attended an official Emmy FYC event for “Expats” last April, where she demonstrated her versatility when it comes to fashion, opting for a selection from Versace’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The look featured an entirely black sheer top, under which she wore a camisole with scalloped detailing.
“Expats” is the limited series adaptation of the book “The Expatriates” by Janice Y.K. Lee. The series follows a group of expatriates living in Hong Kong. “Expats” is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
