New Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson looks smitten in first trailer
Fans have been given their first look at the upcoming season of The Bachelor featuring fresh-faced Jimmy Nicholson.
Channel 10 have released a trailer showcasing their upcoming programs for 2021, including the highly anticipated ninth season of the dating show.
The video features airline pilot Jimmy looking handsome in a tuxedo, both posing in front of and flying a small charter plane.
The 31-year-old is also shown welcoming a brunette contestant on the red carpet in front of the new Bachelor mansion.

Another brunette woman, likely a flight attendant in real life, features in the trailer greeting Jimmy in the garden.
“Welcome aboard Bachelor airways, flight 2021,” she says as the Bachelor is seated in a plane seat.
The scene then cuts to Jimmy saying to producers: “I’m really happy to sign my life away there and then.”
After being announced as the new Bachelor in March, Jimmy told The Daily Telegraph that he signed up for the role because he was stood down from his job during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I feel very fortunate to be the Bachelor 2021. I am ready to open up my heart and meet someone,” he said.
“I hope to meet someone with similar values that I can have fun with and that shares the same zest for life as myself. The Bachelor franchise has produced many success stories and I hope to be the next.”
The new promo video from Channel 10 also promotes upcoming seasons of Survivor, The Masked Singer and The Bachelorette.
Recently announced Bachelorette, Brooke Blurton, is set to make history as the first-ever pansexual star of the show, and the series’ first Indigenous lead.
“I am so ready for this,” Brooke said alongside the announcement last month.
“I’ve done it twice before and now, having the opportunity to choose my person and who I want in my life, is a truly unique and special experience," Brooke said.
