Netflix Lands Louis Leterrier’s Sci-Fi Thriller ‘11817’ Starring Greta Lee And Wagner Moura

EXCLUSIVE: Greta Lee and Wagner Moura are set to star in the high-concept sci-fi thriller 11817 from director Louis Leterrier, with Netflix also recently boarding the project. Leterrier will direct from a script by Matthew Robinson. Leterrier will also produce with Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kori Adelson, who will produce through Chernin Entertainment, as well as Oly Obst for 3 Arts Entertainment.

The film follows a family of four who are suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out, and they must work to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.

Thomas Benski, Cecile Gaget, Lars Sylvest and Thorsten Schumacher will executive produce.

Lee is coming off her acclaimed roles in The Morning Show and Past Lives and can be seen next in Disney’s Tron: Ares and in the untitled thriller from Kathryn Bigelow. Moura earned raves for his A24 pic Civil War and can next be seen in the TV series Dope Thief and the movie Last Night at the Lobster.

Leterrier most recently directed the latest Fast & Furious pic Fast X, and is set to direct the next installment in that franchise.

Moura is repped by WME, Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, Lee is repped by UTA and Entertainment 360, and Leterrier is repped by LBI Entertianment, Entertainment 360 and CAA.
