NCIS: Tony & Ziva Casts James D’Arcy, Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski and Others — Plus, Meet Tweenage Tali!

Filming on Paramount+’s NCIS: Tony & Ziva is now underway in Budapest, and with that news comes the complete cast list of actors and characters that will round out the title characters’ world.

As the Paramount+ series opens, Tony and Ziva — played by NCIS vets Michael Weatherly and Cote de Palbo, reunited on-screen for the first time in 10 years — have been raising their daughter Tali, together, in Paris. But when Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, trying to figure out who is after them (and maybe even learn to trust each other again?) so that they can finally have their unconventional “happily ever after.”

Tali was first introduced, as a toddler, in the May 2016 NCIS episode “Family First,” in which Tony learned that Ziva had years prior — in early 2014, per the show’s timeline — quietly given birth to their daughter.

John McNamara, whose past TV credits include co-creating Profit, Fastlane and The Magicians, penned the series’ premiere and will serve as showrunner.

Though NCIS spinoffs such as NCIS: Los AngelesNCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai’i and the upcoming NCIS: Origins/Young Gibbs prequel series were ordered by CBS to air on CBS, NCIS: Tony & Ziva will exclusively stream on Paramount+.

Here now, the eight new cast additions — including Tali herself….

Isla Gie, whose previous credits include the West End’s Matilda the Musical and TV’s Slow Horses, The Outlaws and The Sandman, will play Tony and Ziva’s precocious 12-year-old daughter, Tali. Sick of being treated like a child, Tali is described as “more intuitive and vigilant than the adults around her give her credit for — and she’s ready to prove this to them.”

Helping keep Tali out of trouble will be Sophie, played by British actress Lara Rossi (The Watch, Flesh and Bone). A highly skilled professional with a background in the Special Air Service (SAS), Sophie brings a unique blend of maternal warmth and hyper-vigilance to her role as a caretaker for Tali.

British actress Amita Suman (Shadow and Bone, The Outpost) will play Claudette, the Chief Technical Officer at Tony’s private security company (and the only reason the place runs as smoothly as it does). “There’s no problem Claudette can’t solve or code she can’t crack,” we are told.

Maximilian Osinski (Ted Lasso, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD) has been cast as Boris, a Russian ex-pat and one of the best and most elusive computer hackers in the world. Boris lives outside the law and polite society, and enjoys the anonymity and freedom that affords.

English actor James D’Arcy (Marvel’s Agent Carter, Constellation) will play Henry, a high-ranking official at Interpol who has spent his career in law enforcement chasing international criminals. “Career-focused with no wife or family of his own, Henry has always been happily married to his job.”

French actress Nassima Benchicou (ASKIP, le collège se la raconte) will play Martine, a former French intelligence agent with the Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE). She is described as “elegant and cunning, playing both sides of any conflict masterfully to protect her own self-interest.”

English actor Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton, Avenue 5) will play Jonah, a former computer programmer for the NSA and now the Secretary General of Interpol. “Charming, decisive and confident,” Jonah sees the ways in which the world is broken — and knows he can fix it.

Lastly, English actor Terence Maynard (The Witcher, Professor T) will fill the role of Dr. Lang, a deeply experienced therapist who treats patients with severe traumas and helps them find comfort and agency.
