'NCIS' Star Daniela Ruah Wraps Up Vacation in Portugal With Family Beach Photos

Daniela Ruah returned home after a long vacation in Portugal, but she made sure to pay tribute to the meaningful trip with a sweet montage of family photos featuring her husband, David, and their two kids, River and Sierra.

The NCIS: Los Angeles star shared a video update on Instagram on July 8, writing in the caption, "After a month of wonderful things, our summer vacay in Portugal has come to an end 🥹."

She shared some of their fun experiences, including visits to "Tomar Castle, the city of Évora and its roman ruins, the Évora Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones," surfing and soccer, as well as great food and entertainment, noting that they "experienced the hearts and souls of the singers and guitarists" in Alfama.

The montage showed a few of these special moments, including the musical performance at dinner and the stunning ruins they explored. Ruah's father, Moisés Carlos Bentes Ruah, was with the family for the trip, smiling brightly in many of the photos, and it looked like other family or friends also tagged along.

Fans enjoyed seeing a glimpse of the family's trip, such as one person who replied to the post, "What wonderful pictures, you went to some amazing places and you all look like you had the best time❤️❤️❤️."

"Portugal vacations are always the best 🥰 ❤👏," wrote another, as a third fan shared, "What a beautiful family and place!❤️❤️."

The actress starred in NCIS: Los Angeles as Kensi Blye throughout the show's long run, from 2009 to 2023, but she hasn't fully said goodbye to the NCIS universe yet. Her character appeared on NCIS this year, while Ruah also transitioned to a behind-the-camera role, directing an episode of both NCIS and NCIS: Hawai'i. 

Ruah's future with the franchise is unclear right now, as NCIS is officially the only show still airing, but fans eagerly await Ruah's next big project.
