Of course, they're likely best known for starring together in the 2003 film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
They reunited a few years later in 2008 for the film Fool's Gold.
Now, Kate is setting the record for a rumor that has to do with Matthew on the Fool's Gold set.
Kate appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, where Andy asked her a very specific fan question.
"Was that old urban legend true that you forced Matthew McConaughey to wear deodorant while filming Fool's Gold?" Andy asked while reading from a cue card.
Kate's response was immediate.
"No," she said.
"No, he doesn't wear deodorant," she continued before clarifying her own hygiene habits.
"And by the way, I don't either," she said.
"My thing was I could smell him from a mile...because we were so close," she said. "We're au naturals."
Well, there you have it. This wasn't Kate's only revelation about herself and Matthew.
She also told Andy that they're both up for starring in a How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days sequel, but one thing has to happen first.
"All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script," she said. "I think we're both totally open, but it just never has happened."
Well, someone please make it happen then!
