Natalie Bassingthwaighte reveals new partner in loved-up post: 'Lucky'
The former Neighbours actress has been applauded by her followers.
Natalie Bassingthwaighte has officially gone public with her new partner after announcing last week that she is in a relationship with a woman.
The popular singer and actress, who split from her husband Cameron McGlinchey in late 2022 after 13 years of marriage, posted a loved-up selfie on Monday evening of herself and her partner Pip Roth enjoying margaritas.
The Instagram post had originally been shared by Pip, who uses they/them pronouns, alongside a heartfelt message to Natalie.
“Appreciation post for the most incredible woman who is not only giving me strength, support, love and immense joy, but is teaching me to understand and accept that I am deserving of these things and have them within myself too,” they wrote.
“She’s teaching me to breathe deeply, to trust and to be my truest self. I am so incredibly lucky and overwhelmingly grateful for you @natbassingthwaighte.”

The post was quickly flooded with supportive messages from Natalie’s famous followers, with Maria Thattil writing: “Happiness looks good on you both.”
“Happy for you!!!” The Block’s Sharon Johal shared, while Lisa Messenger said, “So much love for you both. Here. Always and forever”.
Meanwhile, Bec Judd, Michelle Bridges, Jessica Origliasso, Rob Mills, Casey Donovan, Matt Moran and April Rose Pengilly all commented a series of heart emojis.
It comes after Natalie shared a montage of clips of herself preparing to support Christina Aguilera at her one-off Melbourne concert on Saturday, including a video of herself and Pip holding hands.
'Makes me really happy'
Natalie first announced her new relationship on the Something To Talk About podcast last week, telling host Sarrah Le Marquand: “I am in a beautiful relationship with a woman who makes my heart smile and makes me really happy.”
She went on to say that when her marriage breakdown was made public this year, she called Cameron in “hysterics” because she was terrified she might be outed.
“He said, ‘It’s okay. This is your truth and you now have to sit in it and stand in it and own it’,” she recalled.
“So to have that support from him has been nothing short of beautiful, and I'm very grateful for it. Now I can speak from my own mouth, on my own truth, and that feels rewarding. I'm okay. Everything is okay, and everyone is okay. We’re in a good space. It feels liberating.”

The couple, who met while working together in the band Rogue Traders and tied the knot in 2011, share a daughter, Harper, 13, and a son, Hendrix, 10.
