Mordecai Has Your Puffer Wishlist Covered With Fall 2025 Collection

Ludovico Bruno’s hip label Mordecai is on a growth trajectory. In roughly four seasons, the brand has affirmed its distinctive identity, expanded its distribution worldwide and enlarged its offering.  While staying true to his recognizable handwriting – Bruno’s real ace up his wide sleeves – the designer presented another compelling collection for fall 2025, which saw new iterations of the brand’s charming luxe take on technical outerwear and a more serious commitment to womenswear, too.

While still embracing the nomadic spirit he infused in his brand due to his passion for traveling and cultural cross-pollinations, Bruno played with new functional tounches, reworking the lightweight construction of his cocooning puffer jackets, parkas and windbreakers by playing with removable layers. Roomy pants followed the approach, with plenty of pockets and zippers enabling extra volume and smart folding creating a loose yet measured shape.

There were new interesting developments as well, ranging from cropped puffers that still accented the waist and a standout leather jacket to the narrower proportions of Bruno’s tailoring, which has a lot of potential with its laid-back yet sophisticated feel.

This was amplified by the designer’s penchant for natural tones, ranging from buttery and caramel shades to chocolate and charcoal tones, interrupted here and there by exotic patterns echoing Berber carpets or Azerbaijani rugs.

The designer’s use of texture was also compelling, as he introduced lightweight cotton muslins, in addition to flanking nylon with the likes of dry wool and cupro viscose in this cool collection.
