‘Modern Family’ to Join Nick at Nite Lineup
“Modern Family” is set to air on Nick at Nite.
The long-running ABC sitcom will join the Nickelodeon late night programming block on Sept. 9, airing daily from 2-4 am ET/PT.

The licensing agreement with Disney Entertainment for the series was negotiated on behalf of Paramount Global by Barbara Zaneri, chief programming acquisitions officer.
“Modern Family” ran for 11 seasons from 2009-2020. The cast of the ensemble series included Ed O’Neill, Sofía Vergara, Rico Rodriguez, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
The series was a massive critical and popular success, winning 22 Emmy Awards, including five for outstanding comedy series.
“Modern Family” was produced by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions and Picador Productions. Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd were co-creators and executive producers. Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Danny Zuker, Abraham Higginbotham, Jeffrey Richman, Elaine Ko, Stephen Lloyd, Vali Chandrasekaran, Jack Burditt, Jon Pollack and Jeff Morton also served as executive producers on the final season. The series is distributed by Disney Entertainment.
