MKR fans outraged over impending elimination cook-off: 'Can't get over it'

Another MKR Kitchen HQ episode has sparked some debate amongst fans of the show, with some unhappy with how judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge scored some of the dishes. Last night's episode saw a cook-off where four teams had to cook a signature entree, with the team with the weakest dish going into the upcoming elimination cook-off against the bottom team from last week's Pick a Fridge challenge.

ICYMI, last week's Pick a Fridge challenge saw Lawrence and Hannah cook a disastrous lamb dish, which saw them placed in the bottom two. While many were hoping that the subsequent elimination cook would be between the couple and mother/daughter duo Maddie and Janey, they were sadly disappointed.

Unfortunately, it was Italian fan faves Simone and Viviana who will battle it out with Lawrence and Hannah after their Insalata Di Mare didn't wow the judges, and fans are already stressed and have called out the judges for their decision, citing that they're "done".

Simone and Viviana have been the favourites amongst fans for this season of MKR, so needless to say, a lot are unhappy with the judges choice, with some thinking that Janey and Maddie should've been sent to elimination for their tuna and avocado tartare dish.

"Sorry MKR…..I’m done. Simone and Viviana’s dish had so many cooking elements compared to such a simple Tuna & Avocado. I’m flabbergasted," one fan said. "Janey and Maddie’s dish is a bit outdated!" another commented.

"I cannot get over tonight's judging," another outraged person said. "Where the heck is the reasoning?"

"A fiasco, the two women just cut up raw stuff but the Italians had technique and finesse, I so hope the Italians win," another fan said.

"What on earth? Multiple ingredients cooked versus tuna tartare...literally uncooked tuna..." another confused fan commented.

Some however defended Manu and Colin's decision. "They are judges and very experienced chefs. What your menu choice is, has nothing to do with judging. Raw fish? The boys scallops were ‘cured’ and done well by the expert’s critique," one person said. "I think some arm chair critics need to calm TF down!"

MKR fans hold out hope for Simone and Viviana ahead of elimination cook-off

MKR fans are holding out hope Simone and Viviana will succeed during tonight's elimination cook-off.

"Guttered that Simone & Viviana are in the elimination cook-off, very confident that they will cook better than Hannah & Lawrence. The Italians will bring their A game!!"

"I just hope that Simon and Viviana stayed over Hannah and Lawrence, because it would be a tragedy if they were sent home against Hannah and Lawrence," someone else said.
