Minnie Driver Cheekily Asks If Everyone Is ‘Getting New Faces for Christmas’ as More Stars Speak on Cosmetic Surgery

Minnie Driver knows how to get a conversation started.

Amid the growing number of celebrities candidly speaking about their cosmetic enhancements, The Assessment actress, 54, asked a series of funny questions on getting procedures this holiday.

“Guys, are we all getting new faces for Christmas? ‘Cause where are you getting them from? Do you think they're going to run out? And does anyone got a discount code?” she joked with a serious face in a video posted earlier this week.

“Quite hard to put under the tree,” Driver, who appeared makeup-free in the clip, captioned the post.

In recent months, stars have publicly shared insight on their cosmetic procedures.

Back in September, the cast of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives sparked a debate around using laughing gas or nitrous oxide when getting Botox after their girls' day at the doctor's office was aired in an episode of the Hulu series.

Housewives Jill Zarin and Tamra Judge have opened up about going under the knife for facelifts, while Teresa Giudice shared a behind-the-scenes TikTok video that showed her getting her lip fillers removed in November. Million Dollar Listing star star Josh Flagg also spoke about his past cosmetic surgeries — including his "many" nose jobs — on the Juicy Scoop podcast in August.

In November, Driver spilled the secret behind her glow with an Instagram post of multiple barefaced selfies.

“Ok, I’m pretty vain, so posting pictures without a scrap of makeup and un-touched up, are rare,” Driver wrote alongside the pics.

“The only reason I’m doing it now is because I’ve been ill, I have felt everyone of my years recently and I’m pretty astonished that my friend Keren [a "renowned cosmetic entrepreneur" who’s worked with Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton] can make me look like this: Christmas glow without the 5 mulled wines.”

Speaking on a panel hosted by PEOPLE, Entertainment Weekly and Starz in July, Driver, who kickstarted her career in the ‘90s with Circle of Friends, spoke about aging and Hollywood’s change in attitude towards women getting older.

"We’re allowed to be over 40 now," she said. "It is different. I don't know what that was done waking up to the idea that women are really just hitting their stride when they've, I think been through the gauntlet of only being seen sexually."
