Mina Starsiak Hawk has something big in the works, and gave her fans a hint as to what it might be.

The HGTV star shared a photo of herself inside a church on Thursday, Nov. 7, showing only the side of her face with rows of empty pews behind her. A colorful sign saying “St. Mark’s” is visible in the background.

The house of worship appears to be St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in downtown Indianapolis, described on its website as "a historic landmark with a welcoming, lively congregation."

“Exciting things,” Starsiak Hawk began her Instagram caption. “About to crap my pants scary, but exciting. But it wouldn’t be my style if I wasn’t lingering somewhere between amazing and insanity.”

She then asked her followers, “So, best guesses as to what I’m up to?!”

The responses from her followers varied..

“Yay! A church renovation!!” wrote one commenter, followed by the clapping hands emoji.

“You are turning the church into a pub and restaurant?” someone else asked, while another comment read, “Ooooo new wedding venue?! It will be beautiful I am sure!”

While most of the replies suggested the Good Bones star was renovating the church for something other than its original purpose, others asked if she was “becoming a nun,” “getting baptized” or “in a revival performance of Sister Act.”

Starsiak Hawk, who spent eight seasons renovating Indianapolis homes on Good Bones, started the home renovation business Two Chicks and a Hammer with her mom, Karen E Laine, in 2007.

While Laine stepped back from the company in 2019, she continued to appear on the show alongside Starsiak Hawk and their team until the original run of the show ended in October 2023.

Mina previously revealed on her podcast, Mina AF, that tensions existed between her and her family during the original show's final season. She said she wasn't "in a great place" with either Laine or her brother Tad.

A three-episode spinoff of Good Bones premiered in August and focused on "new beginnings" for the mother and daughter as they took on separate projects in different states.

In the first episode of the limited series, Mina, who shares two children — son Jack, 6, and daughter Charlie, 4 — with husband Steve Hawk, transformed an Indiana lake house into a retreat for her young family.

In the second and third episodes, Laine renovated a fixer-upper in Wilmington, N.C., to create her dream beach house. While she talked about retiring there on the show, she put the property on the market in early October.

Mina recently reflected on how her long-running HGTV series changed her life.

In a series of Instagram Stories posted last month, she shared her responses to fans' questions, including one that asked whether she misses filming Good Bones.

"I grew up making Good Bones," she wrote. "I started in my 20s. I turn 40 this year. Most of my adult life was spent making the show."

"I miss the real work," she continued. "The fun. The pranks. The amazing relationships. The experiences I got to have that I never would have had if not for the show. 100% I miss it."
