Dolly Parton Shares Honest Opinion of Taylor Swift and Her Romance With Travis Kelce

When Dolly Parton was asked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, the "9 to 5" singer didn't hold back.

The legendary country crooner caught up with reporters while promoting her new jewelry line with designer Kendra Scott and during their conversation, Parton admitted that she's "crazy" about the pop star and her "little love affair."

"I'm crazy about Taylor," the 78-year-old told E! News in a piece published on Wednesday, Nov. 13. "I just admire her so much, what she's done with her life, her career."

"She's such a great artist and songwriter," Parton said of the "Fortnight" singer before admiring The Tortured Poets Department songstress' whirlwind romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. "And then their little love affair," the 10-time Grammy winner gushed, "I'm thinking people love romance."

Parton's high praise isn't to be scoffed at, let's not forget she's been happily married to her husband, Carl Dean, for 58 years. And as much as the "Jolene" songstress seems to be a fan of Swift–who has only been dating the Super Bowl champ for a little over a year now–it appears the feelings are mutual.

In fact, the 34-year-old musician may have learned a thing or two just by observing Parton's stage presence and studying her written works.

"There's so much about Dolly Parton that every female artist should look to, whether it's reading her quotes or reading her interviews or going to one of her live shows," Swift said in a 2011 interview with Billboard. "She's been such an amazing example to every female songwriter out there."
