Miley Cyrus, 26, has quite literally moved on following her split from husband, Aussie Liam Hemsworth, 29, which was announced at the weekend.

Not only has the singer been snapped cozying up to a new woman, Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter, just a day after announcing the breakup, but the former Hannah Montana star has shacked up in a new ‘bachelorette pad’ - and it’s very close to the family home she once shared with Liam.

Too close for comfort?

Miley’s new ‘bachelorette pad' is located just next to the $6.8 million Malibu Hills home she and her ex Liam lived in with their brood of pets.

The couple moved into the property in 2015, and later snapped up the nearby three bedroom ranch where Miley now lives for $2.5 million.

Described as “a funky seventies-inspired property,” the “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” hit-maker’s new digs features a ‘gothic-style’ bathroom, hot tub and a two-car garage with an electric car charging station.

Miley’s new place miraculously survived last November’s deadly wildfires that razed her and Liam’s home to the ground.

Liam left heartbroken

Lovelorn Liam is back in Byron Bay staying with his older brother, Thor star Chris Hemsworth.

He’s been spotted grabbing frozen yoghurt with Chris and his nieces and nephews, and has also shared a heartfelt message wishing his ex “health and happiness” on Instagram.

He’s reportedly looking for a place close to his brother on one of Australia’s most beautiful coastlines, Seven Mile Beach, where his privacy is guaranteed as the area is surrounded by forest and private tracks.

Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky have just pulled down their Indonesian-inspired villa, which they bought for $7 million, to make way for a new coastal mega-mansion.

Inside the split

Miley and Liam called time on their marriage less than a year after their intimate wedding and ten years after first meeting on the set of their 2009 film, The Last Song.

A representative for Miley confirmed the couple had “agreed to separate at this time” in a statement on Sunday.

“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the rep said.

Since then, photos have emerged of Miley and Kaitlynn kissing on a yacht in Italy on said vacation, sparking speculation Miley may have already moved on.

The singer had previously revealed she identifies as pansexual, opening up in an interview last month that she viewed her marriage with Liam as “confusing and complex”.

She also insisted she was still “very sexually attracted to women” and didn’t “fit into a stereotypical wife role”.
