The photo Meghan Markle's half-sister says debunks family claims
Meghan Markle’s half-sister has hit back at the duchess’ claims that the pair haven’t seen each other for the past 19 years during her explosive interview with Oprah.
Samantha Markle pointed to a photo of the pair which has been seen many times before, claiming it proves she and Meghan were in contact long after that.
The photo was taken at Samantha Markle’s graduation and shows Meghan wearing a purple dress with sunglasses on her head as she bent down to take a photo with her half-sister.
According to Samantha, the picture was taken in 2008, which was 13 years ago.

Opinion: If Meghan and Harry want a quiet life, this is not how to get it
"My degree clearly shows 2008, and anybody who has a calculator or a functioning frontal lobe knows that was not 19 years ago," she told Newstalk ZB radio in New Zealand.
During Meghan Markle’s now famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, she claimed it would be hard for Samantha Markle to write a tell-all book about her, because she doesn’t know her at all.
"I grew up as an only child and I wished I had siblings ... that's why I'm so excited to be pregnant so that Archie has someone,” Meghan said.
"But the last time I saw her must have been 18 or 19 years ago."
During Samantha’s interview on New Zealand radio she also blasted Prince Harry’s new role at Aspen Institute where he will fight the ‘avalanche of misinformation’ online.
Samantha claimed Prince Harry is in “no position to join a company that deals in misinformation …” until “he gets a grip on what the truth is”.
