Another day, another MasterChef Australia elimination - this time with the lovely Snez being sent packing after failing to do Anna Polyviou's 'Sunnyside Up' dessert justice. While the dish looked the part, the judges said that it lacked balance and the different flavours didn't work the way they were supposed to.

The pressure test certainly lived up to its name as the four cooks - Harry, Darrsh, David and Snez - struggled to complete the task in the three hours allotted. Things were looking grim at one point for Darrsh, whose bench looked like a bomb site and Snez was feeling the heat after forgetting to add gelatin to her mousse and having to start again.

While the cooks were sweating it out in the kitchen, one viewer was on X sharing several closed-captioning errors from the episode. While the errors are often quite funny (we all love an editing fail, right?) the viewer had a more pressing reason for posting them that had nothing to do with getting some laughs.

"Who knew moose could be so tasty," they wrote as they shared a screen grab of someone's Sunnyside Up attempt with the caption, "I think the moose looks quite tasty."

"Harry is unfazed by having to cook a moose tonight," they quipped alongside a different photo.

The captioning mishaps were not just contained to last night's episode though, with the social media user sharing several others throughout the season.

"Were you aware we have a contestant this season called Rocky? No, neither was I," they wrote next to a screen grab of competitor Lachlan or 'Locky'.

Another post revealed a rather odd cooking tip that urged people to never cook prawns. "Very important to remember if you're planning to serve prawns: don't ever cook them," the viewer wrote.

Other mistakes included edible "funnels", Alex's perfect "pawn" and the cooking of a Yorkshire pudding "canopy".

While the captioning blunders seem fairly amusing on the surface, the poster explained that they are actually problematic for many viewers.

"I have commented before on how dreadful some of the #MasterChefAU closed captions are," they wrote. "People who are deaf or Deaf or hard of hearing rely on these captions to know what the hell's going on. It's a bit difficult when this is what you get."

In another post, they expressed their frustration writing, "Each time I see one of these, I tweet to @MasterChefAU but have never had a reply. As amusing as these howlers are, it's not very respectful to the hard of hearing. We need to understand what is happening on the show and we deserve accurate subtitles."

And, truly, she makes an excellent point.

Meanwhile, other fans have been scratching their heads about one of the aspiring chefs in the competition, calling her the "most mysterious contestant in MC history."

"Who is blonde contestant Sue and why do we never see her cooking?" one puzzled fan wrote on X.

"I said the same thing!" someone replied.

"How come we never get to see Sue's food being tasted," another wrote. "She's the invisible contestant."

Hailing from Victoria, Sue Bazely is a customer manager and mum of two who has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years.

According to the Channel Ten website: "She has special memories of helping her mother tending, harvesting and cooking from their vegetable garden, as well as sharing varied cuisines with their multicultural community."

The site also states that "Sue expects her diverse tastes to be an advantage in the competition, as she is not easily pigeonholed. She can be a risk-taker in the kitchen, but will back herself all the way, knowing she can rely on her intuition."
