Last night’s MasterChef elimination cook off was set against the stunning backdrop of Alla Wolf-Tasker’s farm in Daylesford in country Victoria, but the picturesque scenery wasn’t the only thing catching viewers’ eyes.
Food critic Melissa Leong’s outfit also picked up plenty of praise on social media, with fans of the show loving her polished yet casual look.
She accessorised with a statement pair of earrings from Gorman, which - in a fitting tribute to the location of last night’s episode - is currently offering a 20 percent discount on all its full priced items to residents in Victoria in light of that state’s Covid lockdown restrictions.
A $99 woollen hat from Aussie brand Will and Bear and a $159 pair of suede wedges from Witchery - that are currently on sale for $50 - completed the look.
Taking to Instagram, Melissa described the ensemble as “one of my favourite looks ever,” and MasterChef fans agreed.
“Mel looks gorgeous, like she’s going on a spring picnic in a meadow,” one person said on Twitter.
“Love this outfit!!”, another person commented on Instagram after 10 Styling shared a photo of the look, while a third said, “So gorgeous!!!”
Others were fans of certain elements, saying, “Loved the hat,” and “Omg I’m obsessed with that skirt!”
The Network 10 styling department also got lots of compliments last month for an outfit Carrie Bickmore wore on The Project.

The polished yet ever so slightly boho frock sent viewers wild, with one taking to Instagram to declare it 'Divine'.
