Yahoo Lifestyle A Massive Twist Shakes Up 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 17 Yet Again
RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 was starting to narrow. After no one was eliminated either week of the two-part premiere, Mama eliminated two queens, leaving just a dozen in contention for the crown. This week, however, things slowed back down yet again during the return of the 'RDR Live' Saturday Night Live-inspired comedy challenge.
After the usual Werk Room dramas, the queens then hit the runway in a "Tickled Pink" runway with Hacks creator Paul W. Downs as the judge. With the Rate-a-Queen twist seemingly gone for the season, the judges named a bottom two, and a lip sync battle to "Boogie Wonderland" by Earth, Wind and Fire left one queen in trouble. For the third time this season, though, the episode ended without a queen sashaying away.

Who was eliminated in the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 Episode 5?
Yet again, the answer is no one. After Arrietty lost the lip sync, she was given the chance to pull a lever connected to the Badonka Dunk Tank, with the hope of choosing the one (out of seven remaining) that would plunge Michelle Visage. Having selected correctly, Arrietty saved herself and has survived to compete in at least one more challenge.
Who won Episode 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17?

We've got our first two-time winner on Season 17. After delivering a stellar challenge performance as Rhonda, RuPaul's old babysitter in the Weekend Update-esque portion of RDR Live, Suzie wowed the judges with a pink clown ensemble on the runway. She beat out both last week's winner Onya Nurve and Hormona Lisa for the top spot, charging into the frontrunner position.
What is the Badonka Dunk Tank twist?
The new twist for Season 17 is the Badonka Dunk Tank, which allows the eliminated queen to pull one of ten levers attached to a dunk tank. Two of those levers will send Michelle Visage tumbling down into a dunk tank, which will save the drag queen. Eight of those levers will do nothing, and the queen will be sent packing. Hormona Lisa pulled one of the correct levers in Episode 2 and Lucky Starzzz and Joella each pulled one of the duds, which left a 1-in-7 shot at staying this week. With both of the correct levers pulled, it seems like Michelle won't have to change into another bathing suit for a while.
