Martha Stewart Snubs Ryan Reynolds in Favor of Taylor Swift
Martha Stewart is worried that she’ll “get in trouble” after throwing some serious shade at Ryan Reynolds because, in addition to him being a major movie star, he’s also her neighbor.
The Deadpool star came up in conversation as the 83-year-old businesswoman was playing Bilt Rewards’ Rent Free game show. When asked to guess which three celebrities Bilt Rewards members suggested would be “the most fun to hang out with,” Stewart correctly identified her friend Snoop Dogg as being on the list before admitting that Reynolds, 48, was also likely voted in.

“He’s probably on the list, just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies, and you don’t see his face,” Stewart said of Reynolds, who was indeed chosen. “You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” she revealed, adding that the Canadian actor is actually “very serious.”
The home and hospitality expert struck out on guessing the third celebrity on the list, though she was pleased to learn that Taylor Swift was voted in to round out the trio. “Taylor Swift is lovely,” Stewart gushed.
The entrepreneur concluded that she approved of Swift and Snoop Dogg being on the list but would prefer to “take Ryan off it” and sub in “somebody else.” When asked who she would pick for the third spot, Stewart paused a moment before selecting George Clooney, an actor who “is really nice to hang out with.”
Stewart had a few more parting thoughts on Reynolds before the game ended. She called him “a good actor” who “can act funny,” even though she continued to insist that “he isn’t.”
“I’m going to get in trouble,” she predicted. “He’s my neighbor.”
While Stewart’s friendship with Snoop Dogg is well known among their fans, Reynolds’ friendship with Swift is similarly familiar to fans of the pop superstar. Reynolds and his wife, Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively, have attended several of Swift’s Eras Tour shows in recent months and are often spotted attending NFL games alongside the “Cruel Summer” songstress in support of her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce. Reynolds recently penned a sweet message about Swift on Instagram after attending one of her concerts in New Orleans, La., an experience he dubbed a “cultural phenomenon.”
