MAFS' Melissa Rawson debuts $48k dental transformation
Married At First Sight's Melissa Rawson has followed in the footsteps of fellow MAFS stars Patrick Dwyer, Jake Edwards, Jo Todd and boyfriend Bryce Ruthven and undergone a huge dental transformation.
The 31-year-old recently visited celebrity dentist Dr Deepan 'Dr Dee' Duraisamy and got both upper and lower porcelain veneers at Vogue Dental Studios in Melbourne that are worth $48,000, according to Daily Mail Australia.
Melissa took to her Instagram account to thank 'Dr Dee' and the team, confessing to not feeling as confident as she'd like with her old teeth.

"I’m astounded and eternally grateful for my new smile," Melissa wrote on Instagram.
"Recently, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of (not only overcoming my fear of the dentist) achieving the most amazing smile with a set of veneers. While my teeth were not horrific before, I certainly lacked confidence with my smile because my teeth, to me, were so small.
"If you look back at the professional photos from MAFS, I hardly ever smiled showing my teeth. I’m so in love with my veneers and can’t thank everyone, especially Dr Betty @voguedentalstudios enough."
In another post she wrote: "Bryce and I are now competing for the best smile".
Close-up snaps show her new veneers appear whiter, larger and slightly straighter than her own teeth.
"I didn't think there was anything wrong with my teeth but I have really small, baby, teeth and my smile definitely had an impact on my confidence," Melissa explained on What Happens After, the podcast she hosts with Bryce.
She added that she is still "learning how to smile" with her new teeth.
Bryce had his teeth fixed after they were chipped in a nightclub incident in May, with his procedure believed to have been worth $25,000.
Taking to Instagram he spoke of the procedure, writing: "When I was 10 years old, I had an accident where I smashed my two front teeth on metal cricket stumps then recently had some other teeth chipped after being hit in a nightclub incident.
"I was regularly getting my teeth capped and redone every two years, which was costing a fortune... I found a more permanent solution thanks to @dr.dee_official!"
Given the number of MAFS stars who have recently had their teeth done, one user joked, "Is it in the MAFS contract that once the season is over you get new teeth?"
