MAFS bride Jo Todd reveals $48k transformation: 'Feel different'
She might not have found love on Married At First Sight but 'bride' Jo Todd certainly has something to smile about after undergoing a major transformation.
The 39-year-old barber from Melbourne recently had a total teeth makeover by celebrity dentist Dr Deepan 'Dr Dee' Duraisamy that's thought to have cost $48,000.
'Always insecure'
Mum-of-two Jo — who was paired with 'husband' James Susler on the show — proudly showed off her new pearly whites with a smiley selfie on Instagram on Tuesday.
But she only addressed the reason behind her beaming grin the next day, sharing several before and after snaps of her teeth and explaining that she'd been fitted with 20 'Picasso' porcelain veneers by Dr Dee.
"Let's be honest, my teeth were pretty shit. I was always insecure about them, especially while filming MAFS," Jo wrote in the caption.
"I was lucky enough to meet this legend @dr.dee_official at @voguedentalstudios - After a consultation we decided on 20 Picasso Porcelain Veneers.

According to the Vogue Dental Studios website, a single veneer is priced between $2,000 to $3,500 meaning a set of 20 would cost in the region of $40k to $70k.
Jo made sure to post a pic of herself with Dr Dee and fellow MAFS star, Belinda Vickers, who is believed to have had her teeth whitened, according to Daily Mail.
Jo told the publication that her veneers have changed her life: "I am the happiest. I actually feel different".
Dr Dee appears to be the go-to dentist for many reality TV stars including Jessika Power, Nick Furphy, Timm Hanly and Carlin Sterritt who have all received the veneer treatment of late.
Moving on from MAFS
Jo isn't the only MAFS contestant who is getting on with their lives post-show. One of the most talked-about pairings, Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson, recently shared some exciting news.
The couple is starring in their very own podcast series titled What Happens After... which is set to give listeners a "warts and all look at the development of a relationship" across 10 episodes.
And teacher Alana Lister, whose 'marriage' to Jason Engler didn't go the distance, revealed that she has since found love — not with anyone else, but herself.
