Married at First Sight 2020 cast revealed

In 2019 Married at First Sight Australia dominated both the ratings game and reality television fanatics’ conversations.

Last month, fans were given a taste of the MAFS cast set to grace the country’s screens in 2020, and from the first look, they definitely won’t disappoint.

Tash and Amanda will make up MAFS’ first ever lesbian couple—a move which follows calls for the show to diversify its cast.

As the season’s oldest match, Steven Burley and Mishel Meshes are likely hoping to bring life experience and maturity to their TV union.

And of course Lizzie Sobinoff, who first found fame after being paired up with Sam Ball on the last season of MAFS, but after the union ended dismally, she’s returned in the hopes of finding love once again.

This time, the 28-year-old will walk down the aisle to AFL player Seb Guilhaus.

Toward the end of the brand new promo released on Christmas Eve, she declared “I’m back!” in dramatic fashion.

“I’m going to get the love that I deserve,” she added, while crossing her fingers on both hands and making an unsure expression to the camera.

MAFS 2020 full of more scandals

Meanwhile, other reports of the 2020 season of MAFS are equally as mind-blowing, with a source saying filming had to stop for a two-week break after things got out of hand.

The source also alleged the latest season will see even more couple swapping between the newlywed brides and grooms and that one participant needed to be taken to rehab.

Newlyweds Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant - who said 'I do' for real in a lavish TV wedding - are also said to make an appearance, however, they won’t be re-entering the experiment but rather returning as a success story.

Married At First Sight returns to Channel Nine on February 3, 2020.
