Cheating wife caught out through shared Netflix account: ‘Trashy’
A man has revealed the ‘trashy’ way he found out his wife was sleeping with another man.
Sharing his heartbreaking story to Reddit, the anonymous man detailed how he learned the news when he was sent an email about the couple’s shared Netflix account.
“Not sure who is trashier? My ex-wife or this douche,” the user posted. “Not even divorced.”
Not only did his now-estranged wife change the login details so he couldn’t access the streaming service, but her new partner also left a brutal message for him.
The message reads: ‘Hi, guy f**king your ex-wife.”

The man went on to explain in the comments that while he and his ex had discussed creating separate accounts, it’s still “kind of a slap in the face”.
Users also took to the comments to share their thoughts on the “toxic” act, with some calling it “beyond trashy”.
“This is hilariously petty,” one person replied. “Definitely not mature approach to handling conflict.”
“Their future children would be double trashier,” another added.
A third wrote: “At least you won’t ever have to be around someone that toxic anymore. Use this as a way to keep more of your stuff when you go to court."
Others said that he shouldn’t worry too much because the same thing will probably happen to the new boyfriend as well.
“Looks like your soon-to-be ex-wife found her perfect match!” someone else shared. “Be happy for her… Soon you’ll be free to put yourself first, live your best life and hopefully meet someone who can take that journey with you as your partner.”
The original poster has since responded to the many supportive messages from people all around the world.
“I never thought this many people would relate,” he wrote. “I really do appreciate your insight, 'cos it is hard to stay on a positive note.”
