MAFS bride lets slip major spoiler in online blunder

The MAFS crew are pulling out all the stops in week two, dropping seeming-spoilers and spicy comments left, right and centre.

The latest gaffe from the newlyweds come from ambitious bride Stacey, who was caught tagging a friend in an anti-Valentine’s Day meme along with a one-word comment, ‘same’ and is spilling spoilers at breakneck pace as she attempts to ‘backpedal’.

The since-deleted comment was shared in screengrabs online and shows the mum of two tagging a friend underneath a photo of a lonely-heart’s romance plans.

In response to the question, ‘What are you doing on Valentine’s Day?’, the young man shared a very relatable itinerary.

“Sitting in my room alone listening to music, eating chocolates and crying,” the quote read.

“Same,” Stacey wrote, tagging a friend underneath.

“I’m guessing the marriage didn’t work then,” a fan piped up, to which Stacey just sent a sad face emoji.

Fans irate as spoilers keep coming

The screenshots, shared to a MAFS fan page, sparked an uproar amongst fans and prompted the bride to delete the comments from the original post.

Though she protested that her comment simply meant her hubby was away over the romantic holiday, fans were sceptical and pointed out that any information, even the bride’s reassurances, counted as spoilers.

“He works away guys calm down. I’m spending it with my kids and ice cream instead since he can’t be here. Just to clear things up,” Stacey wrote on the fan page.

It didn’t go over well.

“Why did you put a sad emoji then when you were asked that your marriage didn’t work out? Also, you deleted the comment. Guessing your publicist isn’t happy with you right now,” one astute observer wrote.

“Good cover-up story,” another said.

Others pointed out that either way, the whole debacle was a minefield of spoilers.

“So you’re saying you and Michael are still in fact together?” one wrote.

“Spoiler alert,” another warned.

The latest blunder comes after groom Mikey went rogue on Today on Thursday morning, dropping salacious comments about Hayley and Ivan in what seemed to have been a joke, but has not been commented on by the groom since.

It’s not just outside the series that the drama is unfolding, Hayley found herself forced to respond to fans after an uncomfortable segment showed the bride attempting to kiss David in a scene many labelled ‘abusive’.
