MAFS spoiler: Bride’s nude photo leak set to rock dinner party

Season nine of Married At First Sight has already featured a number of explosive incidents, including a cheating scandal, a chaotic couples retreat and a groom being removed before the show even started airing.

And now Yahoo Lifestyle can exclusively reveal that there is still plenty of drama to come when a bride’s NSFW photo circulates amongst the cast next week.

A source close to the show told us that the experiment is set to be “rocked by a nude photo scandal” which will spark plenty of gossip between fellow brides and grooms.

The incident is said to be brought up at the next dinner party, where the question of who leaked the snap will become a major source of contention.

Yahoo Lifestyle also understands that the photo may have originated from the participant’s OnlyFans account.

Expert Mel Schilling previously spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle about how social media is set to impact this year’s season for the very first time.

“Every season there’s a new set of themes that come up, and there are themes that emerge in the dynamic this year that we've never seen before,” Mel said.

“For example, things around race and around the way that social media and the digital world have weaved their way into the experiment to the point where they are inextricably linked. We can no longer pretend that social media and this experiment operate separately. They're very much connected and one impacts the other directly.”

‘Totally astonished’

The reports come shortly after a promo for the upcoming commitment ceremony seemingly confirmed that Carolina and Daniel’s ‘cheating scandal’ is the reason behind the cast’s mass walkout.

A wide-angle from the clip shows the Brazilian-born bride sitting on the couch in front of the experts next to Daniel, instead of her ‘husband’ Dion.

“I've seen enough for one day,” Dion then says as he stands up and leaves the room.

Domenica, who had a fiery argument with Carolina at Wednesday night’s dinner party, added that she “doesn’t want to sit here anymore either”, while Tamara and Ella quickly followed suit and stormed out.

“Never seen anything like this before. Totally astonished,” expert John Aiken remarked.

Married At First Sight airs at 7pm on Sunday and 7:30pm on Monday to Wednesday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
