MAFS promo reveals reason for mass commitment ceremony walkout: 'Blindsided'

As if this week of Married at First Sight hasn't already been filled with enough drama, viewers have been promised a mass walkout during Sunday night's explosive commitment ceremony.

The speculation has been around the ongoing 'cheating scandal' between remaining bride Carolina and exited groom Daniel, with the 'secret' affair supposedly coming to light this week. And a chaotic MAFS promo appears to have confirmed as much.

Kidspot were the first to report a brief moment that seems to give away the reason why the participants, and the show's experts become so rilled up.

After seeing the shock on Tamara's face, the camera flashes to a couple sitting in front of experts Mel Schilling, John Aitken, and Alessandra Rampolla, and that couple is Carolina and Daniel - not Dion.

"I've seen enough for one day," Dion then says as he stands up and leaves the room.

Domenica, who got into another heated clash with Carolina at the dinner party on Wednesday, says that she “doesn’t want to sit here anymore either,” with Tamara and Ella following suit and storming out.

Meanwhile, relationship expert Mel says: "Completely blindsided".

And John agrees: "Never seen anything like this before. Totally astonished."

Daniel had recently slammed the show after new girlfriend Carolina was ambushed by her fellow participants during the previous explosive dinner parties.

Daniel, who was previously paired on the show with Jessica Seracino and is now involved in an ‘affair’ with Carolina, was quick to defend the 33-year-old and call the cast “dorks” in a video obtained by Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old called out the experiment and remarked that the show’s narratives are “a joke”.

“If only you knew, if only you knew the truth,” he said.
